100 x 200 cm (3.28 x 6.56 ft)
60% Pashmina Wool, 40% Silk, Handmade in Nepal
Blue, Pink, Natural
This handmade rug is inspired by the Cedar trees that fill groves at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, CA. The cemetery, designed by Architect Fredrick Law Olmstead (of New York’s Central Park fame) has a park-like feel and is home to copious amounts of tree and wildlife species, despite its urban surroundings.
This rug is made by hand with care on a loom in Kathmandu, Nepal and takes about two months for the artisan to make. Hand dyed, hand knotted, and hand spun, the 100% handmade rug is 100 knots per square inch of Himalayan wool.
